This scene is one that can be seen on many late afternoons. It was so peaceful that day I quickly painted the beautiful coral colors in the sky and reflections n the water.
The sun was going down so quickly and I hurried to get in the grasses and the large red tree
and the Egret.
I had to leave and finished the piece in my studio. I hope you enjoy seeing this piece. It is one of my favorites. The small 2 inch flat gold frame suites the painting.
AUDREY MCLEOD - BIOGRAPHY Audrey McLeod has lived in the "Lowcountry" of South Carolina all her life. Even as a child she would be found drawing or painting and "making Art" in various ways. After high school she was accepted into an art school but went on to college, majoring in business. She continued to paint, taking workshops and studying with many prominent artists in the Carolinas and Georgia. Building on these lessons learned and encouraged by many friends, collectors, and instructors, she continues to pursue her art.
