Artist's Description
This piece is one that I visit so often and just love the quiet feeling it gives me. It is located on the coast near my home. There are always birds at the edge of the waters, especially during the low tides. This particular morning , it was so quiet, there was no movement in the water, and the tide was low.
The sun just coming up, giving the color of the clouds the darker yellow color, spreading upward into a much lighter color, which I have drawn into the reflection on the water.
The original is framed in a 11/2 inch light gold and green slightly embossed frame , which picks up the same colors of the painting. Thank you for loking at my artwork and please visit again.

AUDREY MCLEOD - BIOGRAPHY Audrey McLeod has lived in the "Lowcountry" of South Carolina all her life. Even as a child she would be found drawing or painting and "making Art" in various ways. After high school she was accepted into an art school but went on to college, majoring in business. She continued to paint, taking workshops and studying with many prominent artists in the Carolinas and Georgia. Building on these lessons learned and encouraged by many friends, collectors, and instructors, she continues to pursue her art. Instructors have told her to "paint what you know and paint what you love". So, the scenes she creates focuses on color and light.
