This scene was at a small pond in coastal South Carolina. Only one bird on the tree. It was so peaceful to observe. He looked so alone in the silence. The oak tree hangs over the water with spanish moss gently blowing in the wind. This original piece is framed beautifully. The dark walnut wood with small distressed marks similar to the tree limbs and a faint gold stripe at the outer and inside edges. It complements the painting beautifully, giving it an elegant look. It would enhance any room with it's dark frame and somewhat dark turquoise colors, highlighted by the white egret on the limb. Stunning effect.
