Artist's Description
This is a southern oak that is seen all around my area. It grows to hundreds of
years old and most of them have Spanish moss growing on it. I saw this one near a marsh area where egrets were nesting. The bark can be many different colors, and the light can bring out the various hues seen here.
The canvas is 18 x 24 in size and is framed in a black frame approx. .3 inches wide with a gold lip inside. It really brings out the image having the black around the painting . Thank you for viewing my work and I hope you will visit again.
