I have painted more sunflowers than others because I love the various colors and simplicity of the flower. The centers can be many shades, some darker some more red or orange, The seeds that we know are in these centers gives texture to the centers. And did you know, that when observing them in a field of sunflowers, its interesting that during the day they turn their heads to face the sun?
This painting will look great in a space that needs a large spot of pale yellow color. The image size in 16x16 inches and it is framed with a flat white frame approximately 2 inches wide.. It needs to be seen with the frame to appreciate the contemporary look I have tried to show.
