This marsh area has many egrets as well as blue herons and other birds that come in at different times of the year. . On this particular day, there were only these 2 egrets, both looking for their next meal. They were moving slowly from one place to another, mostly at the edge of the grasses where they could stand to wait to see a small minnow or shrimp make a disturbance in the water. with their quick response, they are fed. It's really fascinating to just watch them. I hope you enjoy seeing as little representation of what I witnessed that day and please come again to visit my site. This piece is framed in a very dark brown, almost black, frame. It is approx. 3 inches wide
AUDREY MCLEOD - BIOGRAPHY Audrey McLeod has lived in the "Lowcountry" of South Carolina all her life. Even as a child she would be found drawing or painting and "making Art" in various ways. After high school she was accepted into an art school but went on to college, majoring in business. She continued to paint, taking workshops and studying with many prominent artists in the Carolinas and Georgia. Building on these lessons learned and encouraged by many friends, collectors, and instructors, she continues to pursue her art.
