Artist's Description

This marsh area has many egrets as well as blue herons and other birds that come in at different times of the year. . On this particular day, there were only these 2 egrets, both looking for their next meal. They were moving slowly from one place to another, mostly at the edge of the grasses where they could stand to wait to see a small minnow or shrimp make a disturbance in the water. with their quick response, they are fed. It's really fascinating to just watch them. I hope you enjoy seeing as little representation of what I witnessed that day and please come again to visit my site. This piece is framed in a very dark brown, almost black, frame. It is approx. 3 inches wide
