This scene is found at Cypress gardens in Charleston SC, where I visited early in 2015. It is located north of Charleston SC and has small canoes available to paddle around. The lake is not very large and there are many cypress trees growing in the water, many have Spanish moss and an abundant number of egrets. I chose to only show one egret in this scene. You can see the cypress knees also growing in the water and on the edge of the land. This is one of the oldest gardens near Charleston SC. I have framed this piece in a barnwood type frame approx.1 inch is width. I hope you have enjoyed see my work on this site and will visit again.
