The location of this piece was in the marsh at Huntington Beach State Park, South Carolina, which is just south of Myrtle Beach. On this particular afternoon the western sky was beautiful with many colors, as it is many days just before the sun slips below the horizon
The water meanders through patches of grass, and since this is tidal water, the path of the water can change from high tide to low tide. When the water is at low tide egrets and herons can be seen feeding in the grasses or in the shallow water where they can walk. This area attracts many varites of birds which migrates to this area every year. It is an artist's paradise for subject themes.
This original piece is framed in a very nice 3 inch gold frame. Thank you for visiting my site and please come again.
